The Scriptures
The Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God. It is inerrant and the ultimate authority for faith and practice. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
The Godhead
The existence of one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is co-equal and co-eternal, sharing the same divine essence. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)
Jesus Christ
Jesus is recognized as the eternal Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. His death, on the cross, is a substitutionary sacrifice for humanity’s sins, and his resurrection is essential for salvation. (John 1:1-2, 14; Romans 3:24-25)
Salvation
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is a gift from God, not based on human works. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
The Church
The local church is seen as a body of baptized believers who gather for worship, fellow-ship, and the observance of ordinances such as baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Believer’s baptism is a practice of born again believers being baptized by immersion. (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 2:20; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Acts 2:42-47; Romans 12:4-5)
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is believed to be active in the world, convicting individuals of sin and empowering believers for service. He indwells all believers and seals them for the day of redemption (John 16:8-11; Ephesians 1:13-14)
Eschatology
Is the doctrine of end times and holds to the belief in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment of all people. (Matthew 24:6-8,21,44; 2 Timothy 3:1-4; Luke 21:11; Revelation 21:1)
Creation
That the 1st and 2nd heaven along with earth was created in six literal days and was a divine action by the Godhead and the Godhead alone. It also holds to the fact that all that is in the heavens and the earth was created in that six day period. Also that God created mankind after His own image and that mankind was given a soul that soul will spend an eternity some day in God’s grace or His judgment. (Genesis 1:1-3:24; John 3:1-21)
Heaven and Hell
That there is a literal heaven, the third heaven, the very abode of God, where believers go upon departure from this earthly body. Also there is a literal hell where non-believers go upon departure from this earthly body. (2 Corinthians 5:8; Luke 16:19-31)
Angels Holy and Fallen
Angels are created beings, created by God during the time of creation, divided into two major categories. There are holy angels who serve God in a variety of functions and fallen angels who were deceived by Satan, who was an arch angel and fell because of his rebellion. These fallen angels serve the anti-godly desires of Satan. (Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel)
Sin and Sinners
The original sin in creation was the rebellion of Lucifer, the original sin of mankind was the rebellion in the Garden of Eden. Sin is a rebellion against God and His Holy Word and Instruction to His created beings. As human beings we were all born into the family of the first Adam and once we reach the age of accountability are lost souls, unless we by faith received the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. (Geneses Chapter 3; Romans 3:10, 23; 6:23)
Eternal Security
The eternal security of the believer is that Jesus Christ by His death, burial and resurrection secured for us salvation eternally, He died once for all who will receive and it was once and for all. It was the power of Jesus Christ that saves us and it is by His power that we are kept saved. (John 3:15-17; John 6:37; John 10:27-30; Ephesians 1:13-14)
